Established in 2037 B.S. (1980 A.D.) at the heart of Syangja district, Waling Municipality-9, Waling Multiple Campus (WMC), a community-based campus, has been imparting quality education at affordable fee structure to the students. The campus is the destination of academic pursuit for the students of Syangja district and nearby areas like northeast of Palpa, east of Gulmi, southeast of Parbat and south west of Tanahun districts. Now, Waling Multiple Campus is renowned as the first and leading educational institute in Syangja district. 

 Waling Multiple Campus, a leading higher educational institution of Syangja, is located in Waling City aside Andhikhola River.  The city lies in Gandaki Province and it is facilitated with highway transportation. The Siddhartha highway runs through the city. It is the largest city in the district. It exceeds other places of the district in every respect, especially in educational sector. It lies between 27°58’50” North latitude and 83°45’12” East longitude, and 746 meter above the sea level. Waling is a multiracial and multicultural City. Ethnic groups of Brahmins, Gurung, Magar, Thakuri, Chhetri, Newar, Khawas, S.K., Bishwokarma, Darji, Sanyasi and Kumal reside over here. It is a business and educational centre for nearby districts and local municipalities. Waling Multiple Campus has been offering courses from grade 11 to postgraduate levels in the faculties in Humanities and Social Sciences, Management and Education. The campus has more than 60 feeder schools for grade 11 and 12, more than 35 higher secondary schools for graduate level, and more than 12 campuses for the postgraduate level students. The campus will offer other technical courses as per need and demand of the time and situation. Its every academic activity will be guided by its master plan and all the stakeholders of the campus are committed to make its plan come true. Likewise, the campus guarantees and ensures equity, inclusiveness and accepts social justice while imparting quality education.
