Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) or Extra Academic Activity (EAA) is an activity performed by students that falls outside the realm of the normal curriculum of educational institution. Such activities are generally voluntary, social and philanthropic. We believe that such activities will be beneficial for the students to expose their potentialities. The institution has managed separate Health and Sports Department along with Extra-Curricular Activities Sub-committee to regulate such activities. Volleyball, football and cricket are different sorts of games operated in the institution. Except them, institution also has focused on recreational activities like poem recitation, speech contest, singing and dancing competition.
Career Counselling Service sub-committee provides counselling and guidance to the students who are unsure of what field they want to enter after graduation and need some guidance choosing subjects, as well as final-year students looking for their first job. They may also advise and assist to the students seeking part-time work or work experience during their course. The institution offers a combination of group workshops (such as those for ‘resume’ writing and interview skills) and one-on-one sessions.
The institution has separate department to provide general health service to the student, faculty members and other staffs. The institution has been conducting free health camp to the students, faculty members and non -teaching staffs on its regular program. There is a provision of Sanitation and Premises Management Sub-committee, Drinking water Management and Environment Promotion Sub-committee formed with the purpose of maintaining greenery, environmental sanitation and preventing from waterborne diseases.
The great thing about being a student is that not everything is about sitting in a lecture or at a desk studying. It has volleyball ground in its premises and its own football ground which is located outside of campus premises. The institution has the collection of sports items to promote sportsmanship. The institution organizes sports programs on its regular schedule. The outstanding sports persons and artist are rewarded with scholarship as well as Cash prizes.
WMC is providing transportation service to ease the daily movement of the students from waling and its peripheral areas.
Except it, the institution has been managing additional vehicles in fare according to the demand of students.
